Summertime Garden - 2022

 I got busy with the garden over the summer.  

We grew the following you can check out on TikTok

a few strawberries to snack on - not enough to store or make a recipe with

Blueberries that I was able to freeze a gallon zip lock bag and share with family and exchange for fresh eggs

Tried grocery store celery after I cut the tops off I rooted it and planted it, but It didn't reproduce.

Blackberries but the yard help cut them down as a weed

Lettuce - enough for a personal salad

Brownberry Tomato, San Marzano, Roma, Cherry, Big pink tomatoes

Pickling Cucumber and made Fridge pickles twice

Tomatillos and made two batches of enchilada sauce for 2 dinners

Sunflowers - have yet to harvest the seeds.

It was a busy summer with beach trips and it got really hot and hard to water all the tomatoes.  Looking to set up a timer with a soaker hose this coming year.
